Danika came to The Peterson Marketing Group with the idea of creating her own personally branded Planner/Budgeting Guide, leveraging the experience that she acquired over the years. She had the content in place but needed a strong brand identity to bring it all together.



How We Solved This Project
Before we began the process of outlining and designing the layout for the guide itself, we had to first develop a logo that would convey quality and excellence while also being welcoming to the everyday individual. We developed various concept designs that were all unique so that she could have a varied selection to choose from. However, we were surprised to find that although she liked them, she wanted something different than any one of them.
At that point, we decided to set another touchpoint meeting where we spent additional time brainstorming, but more importantly, having her describe who she envisions her ideal customer to be. We then realized that for her, the Budget companion represented something, fun, yet personal and endearing. We were then able to lock in on the design which would eventually come to represent her company.
